Starchaser was originary a band of three members, but in 2005 the band decided to split and, among the various agreements made, Starchaser name was assigned to Daniele Cannizzaro.

Starchaser debut single, "Love will set you free (Jambe Myth)" was one of the summer 2002 hits. The track sold 150.000 copies across the world, hit n.24 in Official UK Singles Chart, the video played and charted by world MTVs, the single licensed in more then 20 countries worldwide.

"Falling Star" was the second single, made in collaboration with vocalist Steve Edwards, the one of Bob Sinclar "World Hold On" single. Released in Italy in late June 2003, where it reached n.37 in the official Italian Singles Chart, it was released also in other 10 countries across the world.

In April 2005 Starchaser band had to split when Danny left The Clubbers. Starchaser name was assigned to Danny. But just a few time later he was backstabbed by the ones who believed his closest friends who released some unauthorized singles illegally using Starchaser name. The whole matter ended with lawyers.

In March 2006 the new official Starchaser single has been released. It is "Sex Appeal" a track inspired to the 80s and featuring a sample from a famous 80s hit. The track has been remade in January 2007 and as "Sex Appeal 07" and entered several cd compilations.

May 2008 marks the return of the official Starchaser with a new progressive house single called "Myanmar". The instrumental Remixed by Danny Darko peaked n.33 in Beatport progressive chart.
